Ahhh. Summer in Alberta is like nowhere else on Earth. In fact many places on Earth are unlike any other place on Earth. I must go see them. If you must go see Alberta however, do it in the summer (before the mosquitos hatch preferably).
Might I be so presumptuous as to recommend a day trip to Wetaskawin, Ponoka & perhaps Bentley? Too bad. I just did.
Or perhaps you are lucky enough as I am to know the fine folks of IGYeg who host wonderful photowalks throughout the Edmonton area.
Or maybe even partake in Canada Day celebrations at Fort Edmonton & The Alberta Legislature.
Or like me, be tempted by the allure of the train yards west of Happy Beer Street after a pint or two…
